Modern church, according to the building permit in 1973 as "liturgical and catechetical center"
Built as a parish church to replace the former Saint Joseph's Church in the Ravenstraat, which was built in 1860-1871 and demolished in 1966.
The first stone was laid on March 24, 1974 - see the plaque in the entrance hall - and inaugurated that same year on December 7.
