Scenic Overlook and Maryland World War II Memorial

The WWII memorial and a memorial to three midshipmen who died near this spot in a tragic auto accident were built just in front of the scenic overlook of the US Naval Academy and the Severn River. From here you can see parts of Annapolis. Great place for a photo and many a wedding stops here to take their pictures.

The accident occurred in 1993, and the midshipman memorial is to Robin Pegram, Autumn Pevzner and Lisa Winslow. They will be missed.
