Site of the ancient Roman fort and settlement of Ulcisia Castra (also called Castra Constantia around the 4th century AD). This fort was the northern defense outpost for Aqvincvm, the capital of the roman province of Pannonia.
The site is in the process of being excavated and rebuilt according to the best information available as to its original layout.
