Flat Bridge is a single lane beton bridge crossing Rio Cobre river. It is regulary closed to the traffic, listen to jamaican radio station. Reasons for the closure is normaly heavy rain, which makes the river to rise. This causes flooding of the bridge. It can also lead to land slides and closure of the road, which is directly beside the river bed.
