Pohjanmaan Mikro Oy, or Pomi, is Finland's largest manufacturer of computers, examples of which are naturally installed in all the local schools. It assembles its computers at a rate of 50 a day from components supplied by reputable manufacturers. Its total output in 1998 was 17 000 units. The computers have been highly successful in hundreds of tests conducted by experts.
