The original building built circa 1965-1966 was famous for it's ever changing colored lights on the building walls ( a feature from the General Electric Progressland pavilion at the 1964-65 New York World's Fair ). Sadly, the energy crisis of the mid to late 1970's caused them to stop the light show. Another building was later built in front of the original building in the same architectural style as the original but the colored lights were not added.
