Dorothy Perkin's clothing store occupies a building that was built in 1909 for the Boston, Stamford, Spalding & Boston Banking Company. Designed by Stockdale Harrison, on the outside are stone heads, one with eyes open and the other with eyes closed. A possible reminder that the bank looked after your money whether you were awake or asleep.
