AN ANCIENT CASTLE THAT BELONGS TO A HUNGARIAN COUNT. THE LAST 100 YEARS HE NEARLY NEVER LIVED IN IT. THE PLACE HAS BEEN UNFURNISHED UNTIL MOST RECENTLY WHEN THE LOCAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL MOVED IN. THERE IS PLANTY OF LAND AROUND IT, ALSO A SECOND BUILDING WITH A CELLAR. THE CASTLE ALSO HAS A CELLAR, BUT NOTHING IS INSIDE OF EITHER. ONE SIDE OF THIS ESTATE IS SURROUNDED BY A TALL CONCRETE WALL. THAT IS ABOUT IT. ONCE THERE WERE JEWS IN THIS TOWN BUT THE LOCAL LUTHERAN PASTOR (MR. EICHELE) IN CONNIVANCE WITH THE NAZI SS DEPORTED ALL THE JEWS IN 1944 (ABOUT 20 FAMILIES) TO AUSCHWITZ AND MURDERED THEM. THE JEWISH CHURCH WAS DEMOLISHED AFTER WW2 AND REPLACED BY A PRIVATE HOUSE. DONT ASK WHY, YOU DECIDE. ONLY TRACE OF JEWS IS IN AN OVERGROWN CEMETERY NEAR THE CENTER OF TOWN.
