Quite a nice place to go to swim.
Make sure not to go when the wind is coming from the Eastern sides....

  • Actually the name of this beautiful bay is called Salina Bay salina means salt as further inside the Bay there are salt pans build some 500 years ago by the Knights of Malta
  • Having visited this place several times, one can see it remains unchanged for a good number of years but also the good attitude, service and friendliness is still there.Fantastic views, decent prices and no fuss delicious food can all be enjoyed. If one prefers to sit facing the salina bay, then sitting at the snack bar sipping a good bottle of wine or munching on a juicy 1/4lb burger or some other snack, might be the trick....all in all ......definitely worth a visit, you will be made welcome for sure... • I stumbled upon the downstairs snack bar at Tal Fra Ban one day when out discovering more quiet places on this beautiful island. The bar is the perfect place to enjoy beautiful views, watching the world go by while enjoying delicious food, cool drinks and good company from Steve and local people who frequent the snack bar. Customers are greeted with a warm and friendly welcome, where nothing is too much trouble. I can highly recommend the food, drinks and company. A must to do when in Malta.
  • From this cafe you can see the beautiful coastline of Malta. Downstairs there is a snack bar, where the food is delicious and reasonably price, definitley good value for money. When eating you can enjoy watching the world go by, talking to other tourists and local people. Steve always gives a warm and friendly welcome and is more than happy to spend time chatting and giving information about the island. I recommend the snack bar to anyone if your passing through. Jane
