USC is a retailer of branded clothing, footwear and accessories housing top brands such as Diesel, G-Star, Firetrap, Miss Sixty, Replay, Henri Lloyd, Gio Goi and Lacoste.

History - The former Grand Clothing Hall was built in 1903 by Stockdale Harrison for Hart & Levy's, ready-to-wear clothing shop, which was established in 1859. By 1896 the business had expanded to 36 branches all over the Midlands. Israel Hart, who gave the town the fountain in Town Hall Square, was mayor of Leicester for the three consecutive years 1884, 1885 and 1886 and again in 1893. The main feature of the building is a huge lantern that serves no purpose at all - except to give delight to the passer-by.
