house, ranch-style house, 1940_construction
1940s brick ranch style home built by Sam Brown (deceased) for his family. The home was left to his wife Eleanor Brown Reynolds when he died and later was passed by her to one of his sons. It is now home to one of the sons and his wife. The wife was also a lifelong resident of Apex. The son and wife moved to Virginia in the 1960s and returned after retirement to his boyhood home and carried out a complete restoration. Since the home was restored and remodeled it has been displayed on the Annual Home Tour of the Apex Historical Society.
