This monument to sporting success by Leicester clubs was executed by Martin Williams and unveiled in November 1998. The creation shows three sportsmen: A footballer to represent Leicester City's winning of the League Cup and a rugby player to represent the Tigers winning the Pilkington Cup both in the 1996/97 season; and a cricketer to represent Leicestershire County Cricket Club becoming the Britannic Assurance County Champions in 1996 and 1998.
