The School Gardens count among the world’s northernmost botanical Gardens. They contain around 1,000 species of plant, amongst them 200 species of rose.
There are many species of tree that can be found, such as the Amur bird-cherry, ash-maple and four types of poplar. Located in the centre of town, the park is an architectural masterpiece and recognised as a cultural monument of considerable national value. One of the more recent additions is the outdoor stage for summer events.
