Split Oak Forest is a 2000-acre conservation area managed by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission in cooperation with the Orange and Osceola County Parks and Recreation Departments. The park has over 9 miles of hiking trails and two observation platforms overlooking the lakes. Free parking and trailhead access is located off of Clapp-Simms-Duda Road east of Narcoossee Road.
