Private dormitory/apartment building built in 1964 and named for Mary McGuire, the builder's mother. It is almost completely populated by University of Wisconsin students, particularly graduate students in engineering. It mainly features small, dorm-like rooms with a large common kitchen on the ground floor. (Note: This author--Badgerinmaine--worked in this building in the late 1970s through mid-1980s).
