Payyoli, very known for " payyoi express" our athlete P T Usha. It is a municipal town situated in the NH17 between Vatakara and Koyilandi. Has a good and attractive coastal area. It has a growing Railway station, now stops mainly for local trains and for few express trains. The newly built private bus stand building offers shopping area to the peoples coming and living in this area, and also most of the people from the villages near this comes to payyoli for purchasing, and for travel to other main cities as this is the nearest highway point in this area.
