Nagaon Beach

Nearly 7 km away from Alibag, the Nagaon beach, lies between Alibag and Revdanda. The beach is lined with Casurina Plants (Local Name: Suru) and is clean and beautiful. While the sea is rough here, it is not dangerous like the Alibag beach.

  • Vishranti cottage operated by Mr. Avadhut Athavale is one of the best cottages in Nagaon bandar area. The best thing about it is the A-Z shop on the premises where you literally can get anything you need during your stay in Nagaon. Mr. Avadhut Athavale is very helpful - he planned all our trips around the area. The availability of local cook made our stay even delightful as she cooked our favourite food (veg and non-veg) while we enjoyed our stay! Next time be sure to visit this cottage. ~ nJoy.
  • DO NOT GO IN THE WATER, the water when we went was very ugly and blackish. Seems like some chemical is been dumped in the water.
  • No proper restaurant around here
  • Its a nice place to visit. Only the count of water sports must increase...!!!
