Cairo Round Top

Sometimes called "Little Round Top", this low mountain stands off from the foot of the Catskill escarpment, and gives its name to the hamlet at its foot. For a while, before coaxial cable was used, there was a micro-wave relay tower on the south end of the mountain, feeding television signals to WRGB in Schenectady. I don't know where the next tower to the south was located. At one time (possibly still) the mountain was a very popular place to gather wild blueberries
