(Serpente da Lagoa)
Sculpture based on the legend of São Luis
Legend has it that around the island of São Luís there is a large snake, always growing, which would head the Cathedral and the tail section of the galleries of the source of the Ribeirão until a day to reach the tail head. When this happens, the monster will bring together all forces for a big hug, compressing the portion of land involved, causing São Luís to disappear into the ocean.
