First of all, while entering this institution, one goes on a journey in time. The decoration have not changed since its opening in the Fifties. Gray and brown dominate the decorations. The pool tables can be used at the same price as at that time, 25 cents. On a wall, there are memoirs of the Hull Vollant (a local baseball team). There have been some concessions to progress; there are 3 video-poker terminals which tend to occupy all attention when the televison is not functioning. As this place does not have facility for the ladies (It is a tavern after all!!!), it is thus advised that those of the fairer sex relieve themselves before going there. Moreover, ladies should be prepared to be principal attraction! Finally, the establishment has its own cheque cashing office! It is necessary to ask the barman discreetly!

  • We love dropping into Bar Le Whip and watching the Habs game and throwing some tunes on the jukebox. The last time I went they didn't have draught so that is my only suggestion for improvement. I can confirm there is a ladies washroom. There are lots of dart boards here as well. Friendly bartenders as well.
