Streamlined moderne building constructed in 1947 as Macy's 2nd branch store after their Parkchester store in The Bronx. It was designed c. 1947 by Robert D. Kohn with John J. Knight with an interior by Daniel Schwartzman.
Macy's closed in 1978 and the building was converted to a market for local merchants in the 1980s.
