This is the former Main Moscow Sewer Pumping Station. It was opened on 18 July 1898 and was designed by industrial architect Wilhelm-Edward Maksimilian Hoeppener, a member of the German diaspora known in Russia as Maksim Karlovich Gepner (1848-1924).
