This beautiful park, opened in 1995, lends itself more to contemplation than to the practice of leisure and sports. It occupies the 138 thousand m2 of the former property of the entrepreneur Baby Pignatari and its focus are the gardens designed by Burle Marx, the set of sculptures of the panel of high and low reliefs mirrors and water.
The flora consists of barns and native species of the Atlantic. Part of the vegetation consists of a reforestation of eucalyptus. The fauna is considered diversified, although there are no scientific studies on it. There are tracks in the middle of the forest that surrounds a lake and passes through a small source. It is prohibited to enter balls, bicycles, skates, bikes and pets.
Curiosity: all artistic and landscape created by Burle Marx to compose the gardens of the house was designed by Oscar Niemeyer, in 1950. It consists of a sculpture panel of high and low relief, gardens, water and mirrors imperial palms. The house was never completed or in the 90 inhabited and was demolished.
