  its 7 km from iritty.its a rural village and lot off tribals living there.like paniyar,karimpalar etc.there one christian church and a LP School have.kavumkari bhagavathi kavue also there.its nearest places known as mankuzhi,chavitepara,koomamkalle,kavumkari and paisalakundam.this place good for agriculture.there have rubber,cashew nut,pepper,coco,lot off paddy also there
