The specially located and transformed a hill into hill fort. This hill fort seen lots of wars around Kalawan a major very old age town in Baaglan area. This fort is believed 1000 years old and recorded in Rashtrakut and Yadav ruling family in Maharashtra.
A battle between Ramji Pangera and Dilerkhan on Kanhergad is famous.
Base village is Kanherwadi and Sadad Vihir. Takes 3.5 Hrs from base village to climb the fort, explore and descend back.
Only 5-6 watre cisterns are there but the water is not potable. A Nedhe is beautiful. Cave can accommodate 10-15 people.
