  • Hai. i would be thankful if u try to know the way of people living in mattangal village. this is a well educated village having 50% of agricultural land area. we have a famous kaliamman temple and large dry forest area. in earliar days, most of lands are cultivated paddy, groundnut, maize and sugarcane. nowadays it was totally shrunkend because of labour problem. Our central government introduced 100days work for rural people self employment, which created labour problem for agro based work and raised the demand of labour. as the live of people improved many are became lazy because of govt giving free rice, free land, free cycle, free laptops, free homes, free festival cook materials, free pongal saree & dothies, free gold for marriage, free 10000amount for girls marriage, free medical for pregnant maintenace, free ambulance, free deposit amount for female baby,free tv, free fans and grinders, free cows and goats. ( cho tired) The life stail of people improved, where the culture became worst in mattangal. some people have worst habit of living as a frog in a well. they hav no formula of life, many instant judges(means any three or 4 persons can decide anything without the knowledge of people), many living widows(while husband living), prostitute marriages(marrying already married girls for money), brokers for alll etc. AS the technology improved human decipline became worst. mobile phone and laptops are moving our village to foreign culture. minimum to tecnical and economical devoloments max for dash & dash puposes. vellalars means JCB operators (digs large and pull over others) otherwise we can compare with crabs in bucket(no ane can jump over). you can see world politics in this small village bus stop. no laws affects any one. we wont allow or try to upgrade middle school to higer sec school. individual person can stop any decision or plans of govt or villagers with his relative network. a person can do anything. his relatives will promote eventhough he was wrong. we hav weak decision making knowledge. tassmac bar is running succesfully in gandarvakottai under the encouragement of our village only.
  • i am really proud to born in our mattangal maanagaram.Even though the* old men and someone makes any fault, our youths are very manners and jolly type.our volley ball team is the best team around the area. we are very lucky to have the facility like transports,medical,education..,etc.kaaliamman temple is the powerfull god in our village.Lord karuppaiyah is the god of rain.kaaliamman festival is very celebrative from eight days by eight branches(karaikaararkal).i(thittakudi vellalar) am the last one but not the least one. All are educated in our village.lot of school and college buses are coming in our maanagaram.
