  Very good food, I have eaten at Lester's Diner in Margate several times, breakfast lunch and dinner. They cook like you would at home. You can sit back and relax and eat a great meal. The staff is very friendly and the place is clean. I had the Lamb Shank with spaghetti and Lamb Shank sauce (not marinara) just like the owner told me and let me tell you it was the best Lamb I have ever eaten. There breakfast is great to you get a huge omelet for $6. For me it home away from home.

  My wife and I took our five year old granddaughter to breakfast at the Margate Lester’s Diner this morning. We have been customers for twenty-five years or more. We ask for and were given a booster for our granddaughter. She can’t fit in a high chair and can’t reach the table from the chair. We have never had a problem with getting a booster but after we received breakfast the waitress came to the table and said the manager sent her to tell us we couldn’t use the booster due to insurance regulations. When we starting asking questions the waitress brought back a nasty manager who said we had two choices, my granddaughter could sit in a high chair or on a chair. I guess this is the new child unfriendly Lester’s Diner. She told us a child had fallen off the chair in a booster and they couldn’t use them anymore. They make boosters with straps but I guess that would cost them money and that wasn’t given as a future choice. I don’t know why the booster was available and given to us in the first place, if they weren’t permitted to be used. I would also like to know why the nasty manager waited to tell us until after the meal was delivered. They lost a loyal customer.
