water, bay
White sandy beaches and cool rock formations.
The beaches are amazing at low tide. They stretch out hundreds of feet. There are shallow caves in the rock face in the middle of the beach which warrant exploration. They're a great way to escape the hot sun on a summer day.
The water in the bay is actually much warmer than one would expect for being so far North. It's perfect temperature for going for a swim, especially in the summer.
The beach is accessed by a trail from the Cape Scott Provincial Park parking lot, and the walk takes about 20 minutes. Camping is permitted on the beach.
