Rankala Lake of 107 hectares (Kolhapur)

A very deep and huge lake.
Also it constitues number of temples and a palace named shalini palace.& it is converted in gutter by pleasure of Kolhapur Muncipal Corporation Boating . Devraj Boating Club to operate the facility. will be restricted to 25% of the total surface area of the lake of 107 hectares. However, the restriction has been removed to make the project financially viable.

  • Hi My cousin Mr. Vidyanand and me had boating in this lake in our life first time. We started paddling in hurry but than we got tired. We wish to go long ahead but the man who was given us life jacket he told us in this pool there are crocodiles. So we frightned and within 15 minutes we back to the bank of the pool. Infact it is enjoyable and memorable too. MRavindra
