Located at 711-723 13th Street East, Thirteenth Street Terrace (Row Housing) was officially placed on the Community Heritage Register on December 12, 2000.

Classical in design and novel in its day, this two-storey row housing was an alternative to owning a single family home in Boom-time Saskatoon. It was built in 1911-1912 by Henry A. Cook, liveryman, farmer, real estate salesman and owner of the Waldorf Café.

Seven pillared porches, or porticoes, lead into the various multi-family units. Adding extra detail to its face is a wide bracketed soffit, a narrow cornice, and central pediments with pillars.

The Row Housing has seen many tenants, being located so close to the University. The refurbishing of the building’s exterior has brought its most charming features back.
