This site was used for gravel extraction and was then used as a landfill site ending in 2005. Over the past 15 years there have been a number of planning applications to extract more value from the land. Residents have successful fought off these applications to date and would like to see this site retained as countryside, helping to link Dinton Pastures with Ashenbury Park.

  • Residents successfully opposed application for 492 house plus 150 retirement homes in Jan 2009. Appeal expected. Existing Outline planning for a training centre and hotel, previously obtained by the Oracle Corporation in 2000, now being kept alive by the same developers as for the rejected housing application.
