Live music venue. Since opening as a vaudeville theater in 1905, The Rex Theater has been a fixture on Pittsburgh's Southside. In that time, 1602 E Carson St has housed - among other things - an independent movie house, a popcorn factory, and a barber school. Over the past decade, The Rex has found a new place as a concert venue with full service bar.
