  This is the newly built family house of the vakil family. the original home was built by our late grandfather AliBahi Esabhai Vakil and his wife Huri, when he was alive and practiced law in the local area.The original house stood on the other side of the railway track , away form the main residences of Khantahria. it stood tal and majestic , white washed , and shaded in by trees. It had its own well and provided water to passers by and some villagers. it was damaged in 1970 during the earthquake, and fell in to disrepair over the years. Finally pulled down in 2000 and replaced by a new house. The majority of his living family now reside in England United kingdom. he had 10 Children 4 sons and 6 daughters, and has now countless grandchildren, living around the world, but mainly in the UK. Ahmed Ismail Mohmed Ibrahim Fatima Ameena Zubeda Zhuleka Zarina Sharifa The vakils home " Vakil vari" is testament to his career and life , over 50 years of passing and his name still lives on, still known in the village to this day.
