interlocking, railway junction
Interlocking on the P&W Sub at the former junction of the P&W Sub with the branch line to the old downtown B&O station. This was the route taken by the now defunct lived PATrain commuter service. The tracks going downtown were pulled in the early 1990 and Laughlin Jct was reconfigured in 2003 and then again after 2005 such that it went from being a full crossover to just a single switch to the yard lead on track 2.
Until 2003 Laughlin Jct contained a possibly unique "complete" B&O Colour Position Light signal on the eastbound bracket mast with all 6 orbitals and a full target. This was reduced in 2003 when GLENNWOOD interlocking was removed.
