On 22 November 2006 at 0245 in the morning, CAI - a chemical plant - exploded. This blast caused evacuations and destroyed neighboring houses and businesses.

Comments

  • People heard the explosion in nearby towns, and there were reports of hearing it all the way out by I495. The vibrations are also said to have been felt up in New Hampshire and Maine by earthquake measuring machines.
  • The furthest window I saw that was blown out was all the way up to the bridge just to the north.
  • Also, lawsuits and insurance claims were filed as far away as I495. People were desperate and hopeful for their piece of the pie.
