This large rural municipality surrounds the cities of Martensville and Saskatoon and the towns of Dalmeny, Langham, Osler and Warman. It was formed in 1970 from the former rural municipalities of Cory No. 344, Warman No. 374, and Park No. 375, and the name is a portmanteau of these three.

In the 2006 Census, the population of Corman Park No. 344 was 8,351 (revised). This makes it (by population) the largest rural municipality in the province, and larger than the cities of Melfort, Humboldt, Martensville, Meadow Lake and Melville.

Due to the size of this municipality, its polygon has been separated into three parts. This polygon covers (west of the river) part of former Warman No. 374 and (east of the river) a small portion of Aberdeen No. 403 that was annexed by Corman Park. The northern part of Warman No. 374 (a 4- to 6-mile-wide strip) was annexed into Rosthern No. 404 and Laird No. 405.
