Also known as Jackrabbit Pass. About a 5-mile stretch of the highway that traverses the hills between Moreno Valley and Beaumont. Hilly, winding, and only 2 lanes in each direction, and heavily traveled by semi trucks. Dangerous in bad weather and fog, and a dangerous spot to break down.

  • This stretch of road is narrow, and consists of only two lanes for the most part. It winds through hills near steep valleys. Use caution when travelling through here.
  • I am mistaken, the road appears to have two lanes in each direction.
  • it is...2 lanes WB and 2 lanes EB with a center divider, it can be messy when travelling near big rigs
  • sometimes in the winter a fog will roll in during the evenings. now THAT is a scary drive. Thank god this stretch is only about 4 miles.
