Inception ;-
Malayalee Samajam Dehu Road, popularly known as MSD, was formed in the year 1979 & got registered under Act 21 of the societies Registration Act 1860, in the year 1982, bearing registration No MAH/ 1211/ PUNe/ 82, and also registered under Act 29 of Bombay Public Trust Act1950 and got certificate of registration No being F2337 (PUNE)dated 29 January 1983.
Members :-
We are having a family of 700 Life Members & 300 ordinary mrmbers.
Objective :-
1. The motive of Samajam is active cooperation & mutual help among mrmbers.
2. Promote cultural heritage of Kerala and the whole nation through festival celebrations like Onam, Independence Day, Republic Day, Gandhi Jayanthi, X'mas, Deepavali etc.
3. To conduct competitive cultural & sports events.
4. Our sole intention being "NATIONAL INTEGRATION". We works irrespective of Caste, Creed,Province,& Economic background.
SOCIAL ACTIVITIES:-
1. We mediates the personnel disputes among members and try to sort it out amicably without going to lawenforcing authorities.
2. We are helping members in their happy occations like Marriage, Engagement ceremony, reception, or unhappy events like Accidents, Sickness, Hospitalization or death and doing all the needs by then.
3. To promote awareness among members about the bad effects of Alcohol, Tobacco etc.
4. We encourage meritorious students by giving cash awards in SSC @ HSC, and also toppers in 5th to 9th standard students.
5. We periodicaly conduct personality development clases & Counselling classes.
MALAYALAM CLASSES:-
We conduct Malayalam classes periodicaly.This help our young generation grasp the nuances of our MOTHER TONGUE. Through this program we have taught a lot of children to read and write in our mother tongue.
MSD BULLETIN :-
We are publishing a monthly Magazine named MSD Bulletin to have a direct access to all our members. This magazine has proved to be a good platform for the Samajam members and their childrens to publish their creativity.
YOUTH WING:-
Our youth wing are the young blood of the Samajam who are enthusiastic to participate in organizing Blood Donation camp, Donating free notbooks to needy students irrespective of statehood.
VANITA VEDI:-
Vanita Vedi celeberates Women's Day, and conducting Yoga class, Malayalam class etc.
MEDICAL @ FINANCIAL AID:-
1. We are giving Financial aid,those who are really in need of in their medical expense when they are in hospital.
2. We are giving financial help to needy students in their educational purpose.
OUR VISION :-
We bought a piece of land in Sitla nagar, Mamurdi, Dehu Road to construct a community hall, entertainment area @ to teach women some self help classes.

  • Dear friend, It seems trivial to seek a donation for erecting a monument for the divine event of Kanakadharastavam that itself brings prosperity to all who seek the blessings of Goddess Mahalakshmi. The goddess is known to avoid those who seek her but remains with those who respect her (Talks on Gita by Vinoba Bhave) or to abandon those who show disrespect to her. When pleased, she showers golden gooseberries on the blessed. You might have known that Mahalakshmi has only a few temples exclusively dedicated to her as she is reluctant to allow her devotees to have one for her, according to godly souls. We have acquired the land where the divine incidence of Kanakadhara occurred and are in the process of erecting the monument. The trust is formed at the initiative of some Malayalees of Mumbai. The monument consists of an exquisite temple for Goddess Mahalakshmi in Panchaloham, Centre for meditation and yoga besides a Research Centre for Sri Sankara Philosophy. There will be a Souparnika with an idol of Mahalakshmi in standing position, where devotees can offer arati during sunset everyday, a nakshtravana (astrological park) where 27 trees representing 27 constellations would bestow blessing, shishu bhavan, Vruddha Sadan besides a medical centre. The complex will have residential quarters and community kitchen for those who want to stay for a number of days. The temple will have, besides the main idol of Mahalakshmi, idols of Maha Ganapati, MahaVishnu, Shiva and Adi Sankara. It is estimated to cost above `40 crores. The first stage of the complex is under construction and is to be completed by May-June 2012. The first stage would cost us `1 crore. It will be dedicated to the devotees in the first half of 2012. Soon the construction of the second stage would commence in right earnest. The complex will be an amalgamation of modern and traditional architecture, meeting international standards, and on completion is expected to be the most exclusive temple, with Srikovil to touch a height of 91 feet.(Architect’s view attached) Don’t you want members of your organisation to be associated with this noble project? While any donation is welcome, any amount above `10,000, would give them the official standing of DONOR and will have VIP status when they visit the complex. When they enroll ten donors, they would be eligible to be a trustee. If they donate `1 lakh, they would be a PATRON, again entitled to be a trustee. However, the most committed four individuals would be made trustees as and when vacancies arise after every 4 years. These options are available only during the construction the complex.
