The building was built a Gino's that later converted into a Roy Rogers Restaurant sometime in the late 1970s. It closed in the early 1990s when Hardee's bought the Roy Rogers concept from Marriot Corporation. Since Hardees was across the street, the Roys closed. Einstein Bros. Bagels then later took over the property but ultimately shuttered mid-2014 and Chicken Rico opened shortly thereafter.
