A good place to top up your gas tank and reserve jerrycan if you are heading for the UAE over the desert highway. There are a couple of others on teh highway itself, but were not operating last time I drove by. If they have opened by now, please feel free to edit this post.
After filling gas and if you have time, drive southwest along the street as a diversion. It looks like a post-apocalyptic Mad Max setting.
