The Avoros is a village in the prefecture of Phocis Dorida. It belongs to the municipality of Doris. Located at an altitude of 750 m [1] and registered residents of the community is 110. According to the itinerary Kyriacou Papageorgiou settlement is built on a wooded alcove opposite the outskirts of Giona and Vardousion. It is also in conflict with the village Krokilio, claiming the origin of General Makriyannis . Famed for the village is the feast of August 15.
