  • I went in Carrefour Bur Dubai Branch, 29 November 2011 and I bought 2 Nokia cellphones with a 200AED coupon each, not valid on the same day of purchase. The total of AED 400 Coupon that i received was valid 30 November to 31 Dec 2011. Unfortunately, I lost the coupons and 9th December I was out of the country for vacation, I ask my friend to bring all other documents evident to my purchase along with my authorization letter and request that it be considered since the coupon was lost. She spoke to the store manager and declined to our request. She was told that only if the coupon will be presented even if it passes its validity only then that he can help us claim my 400AED coupon. Shortly after I came from my vacation in January 2012, luckily I found the 400 Coupon. I went to the Bur Dubai Branch and have spoken to the store Manager(night shift). He asked my passport copy with my departure and return date, copy of the 400AED coupon, he wrote my contact number and have promised that he will have it be signed by his boss so we can claim the coupon. He promised me that somebody will call me a day after. I waited but no one call me. I came back a week after (day time)and was asked a copy of the coupon for the second time. They told me that their manager was on meeting and reassured me for the second time that somebody will call me. Much to my dismay, I still not receive any call about it. I came back today to verify but only to be told that it is not possible for me to claim the coupon because it has expired. It was very devastating for me to be given false hope. What kind of customer service that you have? The 400AED coupon maybe nothing for you but for us who have worked hard to earn it it does matter to me a lot. I could have undestand the situation if I was informed earlier that it will not be possible, I should not have wasted my time coming again and again for that nonsense. I promised myself not ever come back to that store again!!!
