Al Dhaid City

United Arab Emirates / al-Fujayrah /
Populated by the Bani Kitab tribe.
Formerly an independent Sheikhdom with its' own Ruling Family.
Given to Sharjah by the British (Lorimer) in 1908.
In 1927-1929 it was an independant Sheikhdom under a member of the Al-Qassimi family.
Later it was de facto controlled by either Dubai or the Bani Kitab itself.
