Apostolias village (formerly Kaniani below) located at the foot of the north-west Gravias Iti and 520m above sea level. The previous name was Kato Kaniani. Apostolias dubbed the Church of the Apostles, which was the first temple of the village patron. In the same place at the church named after the river "Apostolia" passing from the chorio. Today, residents engaged in farm pigs, sheep and goats and growing grain. The country celebrates June 30, the Apostles, the Minster. On September 8, celebrate with the residents of Oinochori and Kastelli in church "Nativity of the Virgin" at the top of the mountain.
