Village Bhavaninagar is said to be second 'Master Planned' village in India. All the roads cross each other at 90 degrees. Every road is 33 feet wide. This was set up Maharaja of Aundh State in last decades of 18th century. The purpose was to attract investment and to motivate industrialization. Earlier there were some small factories of Sugar('Khandsari' in local language), soap and candies. It has temple of Tukai Devi. God Ganesh is also situated near this village at Ganesh Khind.
