Markland Wood is a quiet residential community. Markland Wood is the most western residential community on Bloor Street West within the City of Toronto. Markland Wood is commonly called "The Circle of Friends" because it has a natural boundary of Etobicoke Creek to the west and Elmcrest (Renforth) Creek to the east and Markland Drive is a circle roadway connecting the community.
