  Hi, I am Parambir Singh(Soddi) from Sumwan. Sumwan is one of the oldest village in the area. it comes under Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir. There is a large temple of Rama in village which is nearly about 100 years old. Along with this there is also a old fort in front of temple which increase its beauty. Both temple and fort were built by Rajput Punia family and now the care taker of this property is Pandit family of village. Along with this there is another temple of Mata Vaishno Devi in the village. A dispensary and a high school for the people of village also located in village. I just love my village.
