Pink Pond (controversy whether its due to pollution) (Hyderabad)

  its not polluted the pink colour of the pond is due to a pink coloured bacteria which has overgrown in the pond. thats why the popular name for the pond was coined PINK POND everybody thought that the pond was polluted because of the nearby textile industry. the AP govt had immediately ordered for investigation because the surrounding 13 industries were sealed because of this event and many people lost their jobs. the govt was ready to spend a huge sum of money for the investigation. even planned to call a team from europe. it was Dr.Venkata Ramana , who proved that the colour of the pond is due to a new species of bacteria and because of any pollutants. thus the industries were again opened and people got back their jobs and the govt saved a huge amount of money which it had planned to spend on the investigation. thanks to DR.C.H.Venkata Ramana he is a microbiologist in the department of plant sciences, school of life sciences university of hyderabad gachibowli i am proud to say that i am his student

  I obey Scientists , but of course they are human too. Difficulty to judge how Dr. VR gave his decision. He may be bribed or threatened , god knows.

  Its a small pond and people do Ganesh immersion, the chemicals and colors make that pond color to be pink
