Alternative landing zone for Yorkshire Air Ambulance (Leeds)

This site is utilised by the Yorkshire Air Ambulance when the helipad atop Leeds General Infirmary is unserviceable for any reason. Police cordon off the site several minutes before the helicopter is due to arrive, and once landed, the patient is transferred to a conventional ambulance to be taken to Leeds General Infirmary.
