  This is a disgusting place where animals are kept in inhumane conditions, bears in small enclosures, lions living on concrete with no shade. A poor reflection of the people. They all drive around in 4x4's but there is no money to spend on improving this place - or better - shut it down.

  Actually this concentration camp of a zoo will be shut down in the future, and a huge 250 hectare zoo will be build in its place outside Baku. Unfortunately this Gulag for animals, is a reflection of the inequality in Azerbaijan. Lets hope they raise the quality of life for all the people and also the animals in Azerbaijan - ad not just for a privileged few.

  this is not zoo this is former park which is two restarant now: SHEKI and BAKI. People Zoo is above by map.
